Dr. Tracy J. Montierth, O.D., established Family Eye Center in Safford in 1989 and spent more than three decades building a practice rooted in this community. He still sees patients today. His son, Dr. Landon J. Montierth, O.D., completed optometry school and returned to Safford to join his father and carry the practice forward. What began as one optometrist serving a small mining town has grown into a two-doctor family practice capable of caring for patients from infancy through their senior years.
