Knowing which benefits apply to your appointment can help you plan ahead. At Family Eye Center, routine eye exams are generally billed under your vision plan. Appointments for medical conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, or dry eye are generally billed under your medical insurance, because those visits address health conditions rather than vision correction alone. Some patients have both types of coverage, and the type of visit determines which plan is used.

- Pediatric eye exams
- Prescription eyeglasses
- Prescription sunglasses
- Children's eyeglasses
- Prescription safety glasses
- Contact lens exams and fittings
- Soft contact lenses

Medical insurance at Family Eye Center typically applies to the following services:
